Snow is expected to develop for our Monday afternoon and overnight hours. Bands of heavier snow are possible..and something we will be monitoring throughout the day today. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for far northern El Paso County where ~4" are possible by Tuesday morning. Also ahead, a High Wind Watch for much of southeast Colorado from 4-11am Tuesday morning as wind gusts could reach up to 60 mph. Jason Eddleman, 26, has been arrested after being suspected of robbing several stores in Colorado Springs while armed with a handgun.
Based on the violent nature and patterns of the robbery, authorities requested for Eddleman's bond to be increased.
During an video arraignment on Thursday Eddleman's bond was set at $500,000.
Eddleman is being charged with aggravated robbery, which is a class three felony.
Police are still looking for a second man believed to be involved in the robberies.
That person has been described as a Hispanic male, 20-30 years old, with short black hair.
Eddleman's arrest was made after police say the two men were involved in robberies of at least four local businesses including a Burger King, two 7-Elevens and Entertainmart.
Over the course of three days police say more than $600 in cash and more than $900 in smart phones were stolen.
Eddleman is due back in court on November 12.
