A man already charged with several counts of sexual assault on a child is likely looking at more charges.

Prosecutors said in court Thursday that William Whiting, 58, will probably face more counts. Whiting is accused of sexually assaulting three children multiple times over the last three years. An arrest affidavit obtained by 11 News says that Whiting admitted to it.

Detectives said Tuesday, on the day Whiting was arrested, that there could be more victims.

Whiting is a business owner in Colorado Springs. He's a member of the Colorado Springs branch of the Colorado Odd-Fellows, a fraternal group that performs various kinds of community service.

His wife declined an on-camera interview, but told 11 News Tuesday she is shocked by the accusations and her husband's arrest.

Whiting is being held at the CJC on at $200,000 bond.
