Friday was a very special day for a young boy with a serious congenital heart defect.
The Air Force Academy and the Make-a-Wish Foundation teamed up to help 6-year-old Aiden Peters experience what life is like at the Academy.
Aiden got to have lunch with his fellow cadets, complete with surprise cupcakes from Aidan's favorite movie, Despicable Me.
It was a busy schedule for the cadet-for-a-day.
The trip finished off with a science magic show for Aiden, his mom and his grandfather, who attended the Air Force Academy himself.
