A jackknifed semi caused some big travel delays Saturday evening.
The crash happened on I-25 near Fillmore in Colorado Springs. Police say the driver of an SUV hit the back of the semi. The SUV then spun out in front of the semi. The semi, trying to avoid hitting the SUV, jackknifed into the median.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital.
HAZMAT was called to the scene because the semi was spilling diesel. The two left lanes of the interstate were blocked four about 4 hours during the clean-up.
