Julia Netzler

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing woman who was last seen in the Security/Widefield area.

Julia Netzler, 52, disappeared April 1. Her purse, cell phone and other items were left behind. The sheriff's office says she also didn't pack any clothing or bring any medications with her.

Deputies are not suspecting foul play at this time, but say it's odd that she left behind her purse and other belongings she would normally carry. They believe she may have gotten a ride or left on foot because all family vehicles were still at the home.

Authorities have been helping Netzler's family search for her, and are not having any luck. They hope someone in the public might have seen her and be able to help.

If you know where she is or have information about her disappearance, call the Sheriff's Office at 390-5555.
