Traffic was backed up at Cache La Poudre and El Paso in Colorado Springs because of a natural gas leak.
The line was cut by a construction crew. The 4" gas line was reportedly not properly marked.
The line has been clamped, and gas is no longer escaping. Four homes were evacuated, but residents have been allowed back into their homes.
Cache La Poudre remains closed in that area because of the ongoing construction project.
