Lane closures could result in delays as an expansion project along I-25 between Woodmen Road and Monument gets underway again.
Crews will be doing a couple of different types of work in that area.
Some of the closures will be to allow crews to fill pot holes. Those closures will be short, and may move from place to place along the interstate.
Authorities are asking drivers to be on the lookout for those shifting closures. They will mostly take place between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Crews will also be working on installing wiring and lighting, as well as working on guard rails. Those closures are expected to take place between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
The work is expected to take place until March 29.
Crews are expected to lay the final layer of pavement in the expansion area this springs and summer.
