Hurricane Sandy has forced more than 7,500 flights to be cancelled across the country, including in Colorado.

Those flying out of the Colorado Springs Airport will largely avoid the worst of it, with only two flights cancelled: one to the East Coast and one coming from there.

Denver, however, is a whole other story, with 60 flights cancelled Monday. This on top of 50 flights cancelled Sunday.

A spokeswoman with DIA tells 11 News that passengers can contact their airlines directly with any questions or for more information about travel advisories. You can also go online and check your flight status by clicking here.

Even if you're not flying east, keep in mind that cancelled and delayed flights could still affect you.
