A system producing heavy snow in the central mountains arrives in SE Colorado overnight Sunday into Monday bringing moisture, windy conditions and colder temperatures. Snow showers will be possible across the I-25 corridor to start the day. This system will produce bands of snow through the day Monday. Areas under these bands will see periods of heavy snowfall which, with windy conditions, could create travel difficulties. A brake problem is causing a recall for nearly 250,000 vehicles worldwide.
Drivers are reporting the brakes can kick in - even when they're not pushing on the pedal.
In the U.S. more than 183,000 vehicles are part of the recall which includes the Acura RL, Acura MDX and Pilot models.
The vehicles were manufactured between March 2004 and May 2006.
No crashes have been reported because of the defect.
