A Hacker stole thousands of dollars from Huerfano County.
A county commissioner tells us that someone hacked into their email system after hours and sent an email from that account to the county's bank.
The email asked the bank to wire $220,000 from the county's account to another account. The bank did.
The county has been able to get some of the money back, but $146,000 is still missing. The county thinks their insurance will cover the rest of the loss.
The commissioner says the county is taking measures to make sure this never happens again.
