A local traveler is back on his way after a delay. Police say he tried to take a gun with him.

It happened at the Colorado Springs airport Friday afternoon.

Police say a TSA screener saw what looked like a gun in the x-ray of the man's backpack.

When the screener asked the man about it, he said he had forgotten about the gun.

He was arrested, but allowed to get on a later flight.
