A 32-year-old LaSalle man has been arrested, after police say he was shot while exchanging shots with the Weld County SWAT team.
LaSalle resident Jeffrey Plahn was taken to North Colorado Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries on Wednesday.
LaSalle Police Chief Carl Harvey says police were responding to a call about a man who had barricaded himself inside a home late Tuesday night.
The Greeley Tribune reports that the bomb squad was also called in to enter the home.
Harvey said several units of tear gas were also used to try to get Plahn out.
The case remains under investigation.
