Police received a 911 call early Sunday morning from a girl reporting that a man was on her roof and banging on her window.

After an officer arrived at the home in north Colorado Springs, the suspect jumped off the roof and ran off. Police soon found him trying to get into a friend's vehicle in the Liberty High School parking lot. Suspect Andrew Hamilton-Hardin was arrested.

Police say Hamilton-Hardin had been stalking the girl for two years. Her parents reportedly had taken several steps to prevent him from having contact with their daughter. Hamilton-Hardin was booked into the CJC on harassment-stalking charges.
