A fund has been set up to help the family of a man who died in a fall in downtown Colorado Springs.

The man fell to his death just before 2 p.m. Wednesday on Kiowa near Nevada.

We're told the man was on the fire escape trying to get the last set of stairs to come down when something went wrong.

He was working on a roofing project on the building.

His family tells us 41-year-old Pedro Carreño Arrazola was married with five children ranging from 1 to 21 years old.

The family has set up a fund at ENT Federal Credit Union under "Pedro Carreño Arrazola."
