Roads are icy in spots that saw accumulating snow yesterday. Allow yourself plenty of extra time this morning and dress warmly, as wind chills are in the single digits and teens for many. A second disturbance will bring another round of snow showers to the Front Range this afternoon and early evening. While not as heavy as yesterday, some additional light accumulations over the higher terrain will be possible, including Teller and Northern El Paso Counties. A fund has been set up to help the family of a man who died in a fall in downtown Colorado Springs.
The man fell to his death just before 2 p.m. Wednesday on Kiowa near Nevada.
We're told the man was on the fire escape trying to get the last set of stairs to come down when something went wrong.
He was working on a roofing project on the building.
His family tells us 41-year-old Pedro Carreño Arrazola was married with five children ranging from 1 to 21 years old.
The family has set up a fund at ENT Federal Credit Union under "Pedro Carreño Arrazola."
