Volunteers are helping cleanup debris left behind by flooding at a popular southern Colorado park.

Organizers say they still need more volunteers to come out and help.

It's taking place at the Cottonwood Meadows in Fountain Creek Regional Park from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Volunteers can meet in the parking lot at 9:00 a.m.

The meadow is reportedly full of trash and park staff say they need about 100 people to help clean it up.

People of all ages are welcome to help, but kids under the age of 15-years-old must have an adult with them.

Trash bags will be provided. Volunteers should wear closed tow shoes and gloves. Coordinators say it's also a good idea to brings water and snacks.
