A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for *ALL* of southeast Colorado from 2pm Tuesday until 3am Wednesday. Storms will be capable of producing very heavy rain not only near area burn scars but across the region. Heavy rain caused flash flooding in Manitou Springs and mudslides hit Highway 24.
Three people were hurt during the flash flooding. Several cars were washed down Highway 24. Two to three feet of water came down Williams Canyon during the flash flooding.
Search and rescue crews from Fountain were in Fountain Creek for more than an hour searching for a missing person. They ended their search without finding anyone.
Canon Ave. and Manitou Ave. looked like rivers when the water rushed through. Some businesses reported flooding including Adam's Mountain Cafe.
An evacuation center has been set up at 103 Pawnee Avenue in Manitou Springs at the Historic Congregational Church. Seven people stayed the night Friday night.
