11 News is working fast to get information about a drug bust that startled a Colorado Springs neighborhood.
People in that area reported hearing a loud bang right near the 7-ELEVEN store on Spruce, that’s near Bijou and I-25.
Police say what those people heard was a flash bang device. SWAT officers threw it into a car to disorient a suspect.
11 News talked to a man who saw what happened.
"I saw a whole SWAT TEAM pull up in a couple big white vans and someone pulled up in a car. The next I knew they threw a grenade in the car, we saw smoke and I didn't know what happened." Dalton James explained.
At this point Springs Police could not tell us who the suspect in the case is, only that a swat team did make an arrest.
