After snowfall along the I-25 corridor Sunday be on the lookout for slick road conditions tonight and during your Monday morning commute. Some areas picked up several inches of snow through the day and, while additional snowfall is not expected to continue, snow packed and wet roadways will freeze overnight as temperatures drop into the teens. Bundle up and take it slow as you head out on the roads. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
Traffic was backed up for miles on northbound I-25 due to several crashes on the interstate during the early hours of Sunday's blast of winter to the Pikes Peak region.
There were at least five separate crashes near Baptist Road, including a crash involving semi-trucks and one involving a school bus.
They were all in the right lane.
Traffic was reportedly backed up to at least Northgate.
There were no reports of serious injuries. State Patrol believes the snowy and windy conditions were likely factors in all of the crashes.
