Fireworks Displays In Colorado Springs Are Back On


After initially canceling this year's public fireworks displays, Colorado Springs announced Monday night that public fireworks displays will be allowed at certain locations.

Tuesday, we learned that the Colorado Springs Philharmonic will be performing at Memorial Park this Thursday, July 4 and that there will be fireworks.

Fireworks are scheduled to go off in Memorial Park around dusk. The event begins at 5 p.m. with food and drink available. At 5:30 the Craig Walter Band will play, followed by the Philharmonic at 7:30.

Additionally, the Sky Sox will also hold their Independence Weekend Fireworks Shows. That will continue this week as planned for July 4th, 5th and 6th.
