Firefighters Put Out Grass Fire Near Sierra High School

Firefighters have put out a small grass fire near Sierra High School. The fire started after an explosion in the creek bed of Sand Creek.

According to the District 2 spokeswoman, no injuries were reported. Colorado Springs Fire Department said the fire was about 20 feet in diameter before they put it out.

Police and fire crews are working to find out what caused the explosion.
