Smoke from a fire at a homeless camp in the Springs was visible from the interstate Wednesday.

Colorado Springs firefighters were able to quickly put out the small grass fire, which ignited after a tent burned. Investigators say there were two tents set up next to Monument Creek in the area of I-25 and North Nevada.

No one was in the area when the fire started.
