Roads are icy in spots that saw accumulating snow yesterday. Allow yourself plenty of extra time this morning and dress warmly, as wind chills are in the single digits and teens for many. A second disturbance will bring another round of snow showers to the Front Range this afternoon and early evening. While not as heavy as yesterday, some additional light accumulations over the higher terrain will be possible, including Teller and Northern El Paso Counties. Highs in the 30s and 40s will feel colder when factoring a blustery northwest wind. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
Fire investigators are working to find out what caused a fire that destroyed a Dodge Charger and damaged part of the old Golden Cue building. That's near Hancock and Astrozon in Colorado Springs.
Firefighters got the call just before 2:00 a.m. when somebody driving by on Hancock noticed smoke. They say they were able to put the fire out within five minuets, and were able to prevent extensive damage to the building. Nobody was hurt.
Investigators tell us that although they don't have a specific cause for the fire at this time, they are considering it suspicious. They would not comment on if the fire started inside or outside the car.
We are working to get more information and will let you know when investigators release a cause of the fire.
