Moderate snow continues to fall for some areas of northern El Paso and Teller Counties, accumulating in the grass and yards. Meanwhile, in the plains and along the southern I-25 stretch, light rain/snow mix continues. Take it slow on the roadways - due to VERY strong winds, we are seeing blowing dirt and snow (depending on the region), which is tremendously reducing visibility. The family of a woman last seen in Southern Colorado tells 11 News the search for her is far from over.
The family of Kelsie Schelling scoured a field just south of Lake Minnequa in Pueblo Sunday, looking for any clue in her disappearance.
The 21-year-old disappeared in February. Kelsie was 8 weeks pregnant at the time.
Her family found out today that police have already searched that field.
"We asked the police what they could do, where we needed to search, where they had searched, where the canines had searched and we got no response," said Kelsie’s dad, Doug Schelling.
The family says they didn't find anything useful today that would lead to Kelsie.
