A family disturbance turned deadly after one of the people involved pulled out a gun, authorities out of Jefferson County said Tuesday.

The disturbance ended with two dead and a third airlifted a hospital. A fourth adult was unharmed. Sister station KCNC says the shooter was one of the two who died.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Jacki Kelley says deputies found the victims when they responded to a call about a disturbance at a home near Morrison. Authorities do not believe there is any existing danger to the community.
