A woman accused of fatally colliding with a motorcyclist while her kids road in the back seat has pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide-reckless driving.
The district attorney's office said Reygan Long, 33, was taken back into custody Tuesday after entering her guilty plea. She is being held on a $150,000 bond.
Court documents obtained by 11 News say that Long was driving with a revoked license and under the influence of prescription drugs on Oct. 13 of last year when she crashed into 61-year-old David Cisneros. The accident happened on I-25 just Fountain. Long's kids were with her at the time of the crash.
Cisneros was airlifted to Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
The state trooper at the scene reportedly noticed signs of impairment and asked Long to complete a roadside sobriety test. The affidavit goes on to say that Long admitted she had taken Celexa and Xanax prior to the accident.
Grieving family members told 11 News after the crash that they wished Long had thought before getting behind the wheel that day.
Long will be sentenced in April. The DA's office says she could face anywhere from probation to a two-to-six year prison sentence.
