High Fire Danger Returns Today

Driver Hit While Pushing Stalled Vehicle

A 30-year-old man was hit by a truck as he was trying to move his stalled vehicle out of the middle of the road.

It happened just after eight o'clock on Wednesday morning near Murray and Fountain.

According to police, the man's truck stalled and he was trying to push it out of the road when another truck smashed into him.

He was rushed to the hospital. Police say he has serious injuries.

The other driver was ticketed for careless driving.

A portion of Murray Boulevard had to be shut down during the investigation.
