Three employees of District 11’s Doherty High School are on unpaid administrative leave, accused of drinking alcohol with minors.
The most recent of the alleged incidents was a Super Bowl party over the weekend, police say. At least two Doherty students were involved.
Police say that the school’s administration is contacting parents to let them know about the allegations, and the investigation is ongoing. The names of the three education support personnel involved are not being released.
District 11 says the alleged drinking never happened during school hours or on school property, but the allegations were reported to the school principal.
CSPD says the school resource officer is taking the lead in this investigation. So far, there are no arrests.
