A FLASH FLOOD WATCH will go into effect on Tuesday afternoon for most of Southern Colorado. Daytime heating and moisture will combine with a disturbance moving through Colorado to develop numerous thunderstorms. Any one of them will be more than capable of producing very heavy rain. Burn scars and areas that have seen recent heavy rain will be under the greatest risk for flash flooding. The 11 Breaking Weather Team will be tracking this threat all day for you.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office says a woman found two armed men inside her home. They got away before deputies could find them.
It happened on Piros Drive near Constitution and Peterson in Colorado Springs around 8:30 Thursday night.
A spokesman for the Sheriff's Office says the woman heard a noise downstairs and saw the men. They're described as two black men wearing black clothes. One of them was about 6 feet 1 inch tall. The other was 5 feet 9 inches tall. They were both armed with handguns.
