Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
A man is in critical condition at a Colorado Springs hospital after being hit by a pickup truck while trying to cross a busy street.
The crash shut down the northbound lanes on Academy just south of Fountain Boulevard for several hours Wednesday night.
Police say the victim, who is in his 20s, was crossing Academy when the collision occurred. Police are still working to determine who was at fault in the crash, but say neither alcohol nor speed were factors.
