For hours, a couple struggled to free themselves after two suspects tied them up during a home invasion.
The couple was first assaulted by the suspects, who broke into the southeast Springs home around 11 p.m. Both men were armed, but reportedly never used their guns. Instead, police say one of the suspects hit the victims in the face.
The victims were then bound and left helpless as the suspects fled the scene. It's unknown if the suspects got away with anything.
Police say the victims were able to free themselves after a few hours, and called 911.
The only available suspect description at this time is that both men were Hispanic and in their 20s. The incident happened near Audubon Drive and the 3600 block of Airport Road.
If you have any information on their whereabouts, you are asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
