Flags are at half-staff Wednesday for a National Guard soldier from Colorado that was killed Afghanistan.
Staff Sgt. Liam Nevins, 32, was killed when enemy forces attacked his unit on Sept. 21. Two other U.S. soldiers were also killed in that same attack. It was Nevins' fourth deployment.
In honor of Nevins, who was from Denver, Gov. John Hickenlooper ordered that flags be lowered statewide from sunrise to sunset Wednesday.
