A child is recovering after he was hit by a car Wednesday night.
Police say the 7-year-old was riding his bike in a neighborhood near Airport and Circle in Colorado Springs around 8:20 p.m. when he crossed into the path of an oncoming car. The little boy was rushed to the hospital with non-life threatening head injuries.
The 26-year-old driver received a summons for not having a valid driver's license. Police say she was not at fault for the accident.
