A new ballot drop box is now in place in front of the Citizens Service Center. (1675 W. Garden of the Gods) It’s located off W. Garden of the Gods near Centennial.
Its open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you can drive up at any time and slip your ballot in the box.
The El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s office says this drop box is the first of its kind in the county.
Officials say unmanned ballot locations are now allowed because of a change in the Colorado Secretary of State rules. The drop-off boxes just have to be under 24-hour video surveillance.
