Cañon City police have arrested the driver they were looking for in connection to a deadly hit-and-run Tuesday.
According to police, the victim was riding his bicycle in the area of Leslie Lane and Field Avenue just before 2 p.m.when he was hit by a pickup truck. The truck sped off after the collision, leaving the victim unconscious.
The victim was taken to St. Thomas More Hospital, where he passed away Tuesday night. He has been identified as Kyle Keefe, 49.
Natalie D. Habig, 35, of Cañon City, was arrested after several tips came into the police department.
She's being held on a $15,000 bond at the Fremont County Jail for investigation of vehicular homicide and hit-and-run causing death.
