CO Gun Control Nears Final Chapter

Colorado's state House votes today on an expanded gun control package.

The most powerful pieces of the Democratic bills would expand background checks to private and online gun sales and put limits on ammunition to 15-round magazines, in most cases.

Both chambers of Colorado's Democratic Legislature have approved their own bills, but they must pass identical ones before they can become law.

Democratic Gov. John Hickenlooper says when passed, he'll sign the package.
