A break-in at the Academy Place Storage facility in Colorado Springs could be related to a pattern of similar crimes, police say.

Scott Killey, 28, was arrested after pulling up to the facility on 2345 Academy Place. Police say the owners were conducting surveillance of the property because of other recent burglaries.

The business saw Killey get out of a car and thought they heard him using bolt cutters on the lock of a storage unit. They called 911 and three minutes later, officers found Killey just a few hundred feet away.

Police say they found damaged locks on the floorboard beneath Killey's feet. He also allegedly admitted some crimes to Police, but specifics of that admission were not available.

People need to stop being so quick to judge. Maybe He is struggling with things none of you could know! He deserves to be punished for his actions most definitely. But wow, lets lay off the judging.
