The body found last week in Clear Creek County was identified today as missing 49-year-old David Noren - who was reported missing from Lakewood on May 20. His body was found Friday, June 7 along Fall River Road.
Autopsy results, according to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, lead officials to believe that Noren's death was a homicide.
According to evidence gathered so far, detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Ryan Boyd Hicks, 34. Hicks was Noren's roommate at the time of his disappearance.
The warrant for Hicks charges him with first degree murder, felony murder as well as robbery and criminal possession of a financial credit device.
Hicks is currently in Arizona, where he remains in custody on unrelated charges. Officials do not know when he will be returned to Colorado to face the new charges related to Noren's death and disappearance.
Detectives ask that anyone who feels they may have information about Ryan Hicks or that would assist detectives in their investigation to please call the Lakewood Police Department at 303-987-7111.
