The Colorado Coalition of Reason or COCORE is behind a billboard that will sit on I-25 and Garden Of The Gods.
The billboard will read "God is an imaginary friend. Choose reality, it will be better for all of us," and will face north on the west side of the highway.
COCORE is made up of people who consider themselves agnostic or atheist.
They tell KKTV 11 News the point of the billboard is to encourage discussion between believers and non-believers.
They also say the billboard will let other non-believers know that they are not alone.
Groff Schroeder, the spokesman for COCORE says, often times non-believers have no idea how big their community really is and this billboard will bring them together.
The group also encourages people to challenge what they know with reason and science.
There are two other billboards with the same message going up in the Denver area.
The ads will last for 28 days or four weeks.

Here we are 2012, are you not aware of all the other gods that so many believe in here on Earth? Yet most of you just casually brush aside and invalidate others gods by declairing with 100% certainty that you were accidently born into the only one right religion and believe in the only one right god. Supreme confidence in belief does not equal reality!
God have pity on their ignorance.
I think the ads are awesome. Especially in this Jesus freak town like Springs. They should leave it up, Godly people shouldn't have a problem what other people think.
