Those students at the door selling items to support their school--may not be who they say they are.
Police issued a warning Thursday about one particular young woman, who has been soliciting homes while dressed in ROTC clothing, claiming to be selling cookie dough for a school fundraiser. Police say she is telling people she can only accept cash.
Investigators say she claimed to be with Mitchell High School, but the school's ROTC program says they are conducting no such fundraiser.
The girl is reportedly targeting homes in the area of Academy and Airport, near the Satellite Hotel. If you encounter this girl, call police at 444-7000.
