A Colorado Springs man is in custody today after police say he is responsible for the armed holdup of Academy Bank on Space Center Drive that took place Monday, April 15.
Investigators report that after conducting surveillance overnight and into the following day, they took Paris Toler-Anderson, 26, into custody as he walked out of a business on the 200-block of South Circle Drive.
Search warrants revealed several items linking Toler-Anderson to the crime, according to reports.
Toler-Anderson has been charged with aggravated robbery for the Academy Bank incident. Investigators say they are also looking into whether or not he has any connection to other robberies.
During the incident Monday, two nearby elementary schools, Wilson and Henry, were put on lockdown for a short time due to police activity in area.
