Police are looking for four men suspected of a late night armed robbery spree in northwest Colorado Springs Friday night into early Saturday morning.
The four men are suspected of robbing three Diamond Shamrock stores and robbing some people at the intersection of Academy Boulevard and Radiant Drive.
The first robbery took place just after 11:30 Friday night at the Diamond Shamrock at 3290 Austin Bluffs Parkway. Police were able to obtain a photograph of one of the suspects in this robbery. The four made off with cash from the convenience store.
About a half hour later, the group held up the Diamond Shamrock at 5553 Austin Bluffs Parkway. Again, they made off with cash and headed to their next target.
At 12:14 a.m. Saturday, the four entered the Diamond Shamrock at 5790 North Carefree Circle. In this robbery police say several shots were fired, but no one was hurt.
Ten minutes later, a personal robbery was reported at the intersection of Academy Boulevard and Radiant Drive. No one was hurt in this robbery, but the suspects made off with the victims’ personal property.
All four suspects wore dark colored hoodies, masks and gloves. One suspect is black, wearing black tennis shoes. The other three suspects were Hispanic, two of which were wearing white tennis shoes. All four were armed with semi-automatic handguns. A black vehicle was also seen at the first and third Diamond Shamrock robberies.
Police say if you see these men call Crime Stoppers at 719-634-STOP. Do not approach them; they are considered armed and dangerous.
