American Airline flights nationwide are grounded until 3 p.m. due to computer problems.
Our sister station our of Dallas/Fort Worth says a "firewall issue" is preventing the airline's computers from working properly. The airline is unable to track who is boarding each plane due to the issue, so the airline has stopped boarding passengers until the problem is resolved.
“We’re working to resolve the issue as quickly as we can,” a spokeswoman with American Airlines told CBS DFW. "We apologize to our customers for any inconvenience.”
