FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (AP) -- A soldier who was found shot to death outside Fort Campbell, Ky., had recently returned from his second tour to Afghanistan with the 101st Airborne Division.
The military released additional details Monday about 28-year-old Sgt. Vincent Edward Goslyn of Cadillac, Mich. Police found him fatally shot Friday in Hopkinsville, Ky.
The post said Goslyn joined the Army in 2005. He was a quartermaster and chemical equipment repairer assigned to 4th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 159th Combat Aviation Brigade. He came back from Afghanistan last year.
He is survived by three sons and two daughters and his parents.
The soldier's wife, 25-year-old Jessie Lucille Goslyn, was arrested and charged with murder in his death. Another man, 24-year-old Jarred Long, was arrested in Colorado also in connection with the shooting.
