A controversial voice for the Palestinian people says she will speak as planned at Colorado College next week. Dr. Hanan Ashrawi is scheduled to speak on September 12th. But some people feel her views are not appropriate, in the wake of the anniversary of the terrorist attacks on America.
A flood of protests have targeted Dr. Ashrawi's visit. That includes Governor Bill Owens and Colorado Springs area Jewish and Christian leaders.
Governor Owens has said it's outrageous to bring her the day after 9/11 because she's done so much to divide the Middle East.
