The only person indicted in a football recruiting scandal at the University of Colorado will be allowed to return to Texas.
A Boulder County judge made that decision Tuesday in the case of
28-year-old Nathan Maxcey.
A statewide grand jury indicted Maxcey on suspicion of
soliciting prostitution, and using his school-issued cell phone to
call a chat line.
He surrendered to Boulder County authorities last Thursday, but
was later released on a five-thousand dollar bond which barred him
from leaving the state.
Maxcey asked a judge to allow him to go back to Houston, Texas
until his next court date, and the judge agreed.
The judge also told Maxcey he won't have to appear for a hearing
in early September, because it's a procedural hearing for
