To any of the family members who read this, I am so sorry for your loss! People who say stupid stuff just don't think. Too many unfair/insensitive assumptions being made. A life lost is always a tragedy not matter who you are. Blessings to you all as you grieve your loss.

People here in CO scare me...I have seen the most aggressive drivers here! I'm from South Carolina and was based in Texas, people there were a little more courteous on the roads! People here are just rude!

I hate driving here..It IS the worst place to drive..I never feel at ease until im back at home. you never know if you are gonna make it back. i have seen many police go through RED lights WITHOUT their lights flashing, they too should be setting an example. People just need to pay more attention to DRIVING and not their music, phones, texting. To whoever wrote about texting being illegal, I thought its illegal to drive without insurance YET, im the one with the option to pay extra for the UNINSURED motorist. So until they start cracking down severely on one issue none are going to get fixed. And COS needs to manage their money better so they have more officers to patrol certain areas..Its just a mess

I have called the police numberous times to get an officer to patrol Hwy. 115 south towards Carson. Unbelievable drivers in the mornings... am just waiting to hear of a fatality at Star Ranch. On Lake St. yesterday I saw an officer totally ignore a speeder. I was doing 3 over the limit and someone passed me going much faster,,, but the officer did nothing. This town has some crazy drivers and also some inattentive drivers. Please let's all slow down and look at the mountains. Take a deep breath and be patient. Save a life.
