Moderate snow continues to fall for some areas of northern El Paso and Teller Counties, accumulating in the grass and yards. Meanwhile, in the plains and along the southern I-25 stretch, light rain/snow mix continues. Take it slow on the roadways - due to VERY strong winds, we are seeing blowing dirt and snow (depending on the region), which is tremendously reducing visibility. A report by the nonprofit group, Center for Security Policy, says 2 of the state's public pension funds have invested in companies with ties to terrorist-sponsoring states.
The report says the Fire and Police Pension Association of Colorado invested $150 million in such countries and the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Association invested about $2.8 billion.
Both funds say the issue is complicated and their primary responsibility is to protect members' assets.
