The first of two murder trials for the killing of Jason Holley began Tuesday.
Kyle Stott, 18, is the first suspect to go on trial. It began at 9 a.m. Tuesday in El Paso County. The trial for the second suspect, Derek Hernandez, 21, is set for later this fall.
Jason Holley, 22, disappeared in early January of 2009. His body wasn't discovered until May of 2009 when one of the suspects in the case gave investigators information on his location. His body was found near Seven Falls.
A private investigator for the family says the murder may have had something to do with an Xbox gaming system.
Jason Holley's brother, Nik Holley, says his brother suffered from Klinefelter’s Syndrome, which affected Jason's development and made it harder for him to determine who he should and shouldn't have made friends with. "He just wanted to just be friends with everybody,” says Nik Holley. “He would just befriend anybody. He couldn't tell, 'oh this kid's not the right person to be friends with.’"
Nik Holley says the upcoming trial is stirring up a lot of emotions. “The verge of the trial is actually bringing back all this anxiety that was at the beginning.”
He adds that he hopes justice will be served, especially for the two men who he says took such advantage of his little brother. "They really did the most low-down thing that you can do,” Nik Holley tells 11 News. “Take advantage of somebody who doesn't have the mental capacity to say no to them".

These guys absolutely disgust me. People that prey on the mentally disabled are scum of the earth. They should never see the outside of a prison wall if they are guilty.
my heart goes to Jason`s family, i pray for justice for Jason and his family and that there will be closure.
