Food, family, and fun. They could only mean one thing: the Colorado State Fair.
Saturday marked opening day for the 132nd annual Colorado State Fair. To start things off, a children's parade and a rodeo.
Of course, you'll also see the usual fair fare of livestock judging contests, animal exhibits, and a carnival.
Orgainzers hope they can beat last year's dismal attendance of only 640,000. So far, hopes remain high with good advance ticket sales.
The fair lasts for 16 days.
