Colorado Springs Police track down a man suspected of road rage, and arrest him after a brief stand-off outside his home.
A bicyclist traveling on Austin Bluffs Parkway told police he was confronted by a motorist in a red Jeep Cherokee around 4:30 p.m. Monday. The man on the bike told police that the driver of the Jeep yelled at him for being in the street on his bike. The two met up again at the next intersection, where they started talking about the situation, and the man on the bike told police that's when the driver showed him something that looked like a small handgun, and that the suspect also tried to reach into the cyclist's pocket to take his cell phone.
When the motorist drove away, the bicyclist used his cell phone to take a photo of the Jeep's license plate, and reported the driver to police.
Police say they found the suspect, Curtis Scriver, 46, in the backyard of his home on Farm Ridge Place. Police say Scriver did not comply with their requests, and a brief stand-off occurred. Later, police say they got a hold of Scriver on the phone and he eventually walked out of his home.
Scriver was arrested and booked into the county jail on Monday night on charges of felony menacing and attempted robbery.

I'd say better than half the vehicle drivers in this city/state have no business on the roads. There isn't enough character space to list all the violations many of us witness or commit everyday. There is a great site to list them though. http://www.platewire.com
Dixie, Wayne, & Bill, You just dont get it, do you? I feel really sorry for you. Name calling, threats....do you not realize how immature you are making yourself look like? Do you not know what some of these cycling organizations do for the community? Maybe you could take some time and look at both side objectively. Wait....nevermind, your comments already proved that is impossible for you to comprehend.
shawn - I and many others would GLADLY refund 5 X the $10 they paid just to keep these obnoxious D-Bags off the streets.
